Matrioska parallax

Layers that nest and advance at different speeds as you scroll: there is no sideways travel, what grows is the world. The whole maths fits in three lines: the camera advances measured in layers, each layer checks how many layers away it is, and that distance becomes scale by raising two to it. With the motion dial at zero the scale stays at one and the effect degrades to a cross-fade: it loses the journey, but it does not break.
