Lisp
Lisp, created by John McCarthy in 1958, is the second-oldest high-level language still in use. A pioneer of code as data (homoiconicity), macros and garbage collection, it shaped the history of artificial intelligence. Its dialects (Common Lisp, Scheme) are still alive.
